Alloy 28 Bolt
BDF can produce qualified Alloy 28 bolt of all kinds of cold formed and hot forged. The forms are hexagon bolts, hex heavy bolts, socket cap bolts, anchor bolts, and other non-standard bolts according to customer drawings. The size ranges from M8-M100 in METRIC and 3/8” to 3-1/2” in INCH, with varies length.
The alloy 28 is the highest grade of nickel in stainless steel. It is also included in the iron-nickel based corrosion resistant alloy due to the amount of Ni> 30%. In addition to nickel, this steel has a high Cr content and contains 3% to 4% Mo and about 1.0% Cu, so it is excellent in overall corrosion resistance in many strong reducing corrosive environments, and in some oxidizing, Halogen-containing medium, both resistant to comprehensive corrosion, and resistance to local corrosion. In addition, this steel has austenitic structure, its strength and plastic, tough fine. So the steel is a comprehensive performance matching excellent steel.
The alloy 28 is developed from the material of the heat exchanger for the production of wet phosphoric acid, which is the best material for corrosion resistance in stainless steel applications in this field. In addition, this steel is widely used in chemical, flue gas desulfurization, seawater heat exchangers and other devices because of its excellent resistance to full and local corrosion in many corrosive environments.
Alloy 28 minimum mechanical properties in the room temperature:
BH Brinell Hardness
